Elspeth Collier photo gallery

The emphasis for the Elspeth Collier Photography website was to keep the design clean, simple and unobtrusive, allowing the photographs to take centre stage. Despite the use of numerous large, bold images, we ensured the site remained suitable for smaller screens and slower internet connections.

We implemented a cross-fading slideshow of Collier's world-renowned architectural, landscape, portrait and wedding photography on the homepage, framed against a plain white background to impress viewers at first glance. Easy-to-navigate image galleries were strewn throughout the site, displaying various collections of her work. The photographer can upload images directly from her camera onto the website, where our content-management system (CMS) automatically resizes them and creates thumbnails.
