Our pricing philosophy
Quoting for work takes up a lot of our time however we put a lot of effort into it because we really feel it is important to take in a number of factors when setting a budget for a new project.
The most common question we get is "how much will it cost for…." To some extent it is like asking "how long is a piece of string."
We do not take a cookie-cutter approach to pricing up new jobs because there are so many variables.
While we always strive to do the best work we can and produce results that will meet and hopefully exceed our clients' expectations, we have to also take into account their budgets.
We have always been very committed to working out what is the best we can do while fitting within the budget constraints of our clients.
In order to recommend what we feel is a realistic budget, we will ask a number of questions and spend a bit of time discussing the needs, wants and expectations of the project so we can do our best to determine what we feel is the best way to go about it. We always also try to get an indication of how much a client is wishing to spend so we have a baseline.
There are times where we will say we simply can't produce the kind of work we are expected to do within the stated budget and we might refer such clients on to someone who we know will produce acceptable results at a lower cost.
More often than not, however, we will be able to dialogue with the client to work out together what is a reasonable budget and what are reasonable expectations for the outcome of the project.
We believe that expectations are met and refined through education and good communication and we prefer to go into detail at the beginning so we can be as informed as possible to offer the best advice for the situation.
If you send us your brief, we would be happy to put together a quote.
