Website redesign and development for The Children's Guide
The Children's Guide is a printed publication that is distributed for free each year in the Nelson Mail around the Nelson region. It is essentially a directory of shops, activities and services suitable for children.
We were approached to help take the guide to the web. Initially they are still focusing mainly on the printed guide so we had to create a site that is simple and economical with the scope and ability to expand and grow as the shift happens towards a full web directory over the next couple of years.
We wanted to create a site that is a little fun and playful (who can spot the cute little animation?) while also being practical and having a high level of usability.
