Design and development of Shopify site for the Monocle Order
This was a really fun collaboration with the team at the Monocle Order as they worked to build a brand, create a look and secure distributors all in a matter of weeks before their June 30th launch party.
There was a funny little coincidence with this project…
I was talking on the phone with the Monocle Order about how much they liked Karen Walker and would love to sell her sunglasses range (they didn't even realise she was a New Zealand designer at the time).
It turned out that Karen was coming to Nelson that very evening to a little party at Palm Boutique for the launch of their website (which we also built in Shopify).
I had a chat with Karen that at the party and mentioned the coincidence and, to cut a long story short, because of that little meeting, the Monocle Order secured Karen's collection.
It's a funny small world! And what a lovely, gracious person Karen Walker is with how she engaged with the ladies of Nelson. Quite inspiring.
